Hey, how’s it goin’? I’m Bill Lindsey.
I’ve led and created advertising for fast food and frozen pizza. Motorcycles, cars...and the tires for both. I’ve done ads for iconic sports names (Cubs, Sox, Bears, DePaul Blue Demons, ND Fighting Irish, Kentucky Derby) and great sports equipment (Wilson, TaylorMade, High Society Snowboards). Oh, and beer. A boatload of beer. I helped take Coors Light from the #4 beer brand in the U.S. to #2. And was instrumental in helping Coors Banquet reverse a 17-year sales decline that has it still defying gravity to this day.
I’ve written short stories and long-form content. A 6-part TV series about minor league baseball. A documentary on the 1963 NCAA champion Loyola Ramblers. And a ton of other stuff. When it comes right down to it, I just love to write.
Hope you like the work. Thanks for checking it out.
“The Show” follows six top minor league prospects on an exhilarating yet gut-wrenching roller coaster ride towards the ultimate goal: making the majors.
My friend Sam Ciaramataro had 80+ hours of film after spending the '06 season with the Triple-A Tucson Sidewinders. I wrote the narrative and arced the storyline for the 6-part series, which was narrated by Chicago actor (and Wrigley Field bleacher bum) Joe Montegna.
It earned a thumbs-up review in Sports Illustrated, and became cable channel MOJO’s highest-rated program of the year.
